Carolyn Sue Taylor, 73 of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on December 21, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born on May 20,1948 in Bonifay, FL to Gordon A. Stubbs and Delana Alsobrooks. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Chipley, Florida. Her greatest joy was her family whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Gordon and Delana Stubbs; brothers: John Stubbs, Charlie Stubbs; sister: Patsy Vines.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Carl H. Taylor of Chipley FL; sons: Melvin “Butch” Hendrix Jr. (Treva) of Vernon, FL, Charles “Chuck” Taylor of Chipley, FL; brother: Gordon Stubbs (Annita) of Wausau, FL grandchildren: Jessica Daniels (Shane) of Japan, Lacey Farris (Derek) of Vernon, FL, Cortney Hendrix (Jaylin Cannon) of Vernon, FL, Colleen Meredith (Thomas) of Troy AL; 8 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Church of God of Prophecy in Chipley, FL with Rev. Ernie Dupree officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, FL.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
