Career and technical education, or CTE, is education that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers.

CTE covers many different fields, including photography, video production and drone technology, health care, welding, pharmacy tech, information technology, advanced manufacturing, hospitality, truck driving, automotive, carpentry and cabinet making, management and many more career fields.

CTE Month is a public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country.

CTE includes many different fields, including Corrections, as highlighted by Florida Panhandle Technical College student Matt Kennison.

Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, Florida has offered over 30 degree and certification programs for over 50 years, as seen in the photos (below) by students in the FPTC Digital Photography Program.
