The Bay County, Florida Sheriff’s Office has released the following updates on wildfires currently burning in Bay County:
1. Dogwood Way fire in Callaway Heights area continues to burn.
2. Cluster Road fire is also burning again.
3. Daffin Lake Road fire is burning again.
4. New fire at Rebecca Road and McCormick in Southport is burning. About 2 acres involved.
5. New fire in Callaway at Adkins Road. BCSO Air Unit is up with Bay County Emergency Services Deputy
Chief Brad Monroe to assess this fire as it is moving quickly. Up to 40 acres involved.
County fire fighters all on scene including Forestry and assisting first responders. Please avoid these areas if possible. Stay tuned to local news.
