Thomas Earl Jackson, 80 of Alford, FL passed from this life on April 29, 2022 at his residence.
Thomas was born on July 17,1941 in Washington County to MC Jackson and Gladys Riley. He was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, and he worked as a truck driver with the call handle “Jitterbug”. Thomas enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing and mowing grass. He always looked forward to the Christmas Season and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: MC and Gladys Jackson; daughter: Wanda Faye Woodham; grandson: Joshua; brother: Robert Jackson; special uncle: Wade Jackson; brother in law: Charles Seay; special cousin: Tom Haddock.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Missie Wanda Jackson of Alford, FL; sons: Scott Jackson (Beth) of Alford, FL, Thomas Earl Jackson Jr. of Bristol, FL; daughter: Debbie Jeanice McDonough of Alford, FL; brother: Roger Jackson (Kathy) of Cottondale, FL; sisters: Margaret Grimes (Frank) of Cottondale, FL, Martha Seay of Alford, FL; sister in law: Shelia Jackson of Cottondale, FL; grandchildren: Ashley, Jamie, Kathy, Andrea, Crystal, Trent, Trevor; great grandchildren: Bryce, Akeila, Tremaine, Brayden, Brielle, Kyra, Aniyah, Thomas, Jonathan, Lacy, Matthew.
Graveside service will be held 2PM Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Rockhill Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation 30 minutes prior to the service graveside.
