Dorothy Jean Raley, age 84, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away June 15, 2022, at Oak Tree Health Care in South Daytona, Florida.
She was born December 16, 1937, in Marianna, Florida to the late David Brown and Malzie Monte Gay Brown.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Raley, one daughter, Donna Shoots, two sons, Jim Raley and Roger Holmes, and one brother, Roy Brown.
Ms. Raley is survived by two sons, James Raley and wife Dawn of Ormond Beach, FL and Roger Raley and wife Betty of Hendersonville, TN; seven grandchildren, Courtney Raley, Channing Raley, Peyton Raley, Kyle Shoots, Jonathan Shoots, Tegan Tainter, and Mindie Shores; four great-grandchildren, Kingsley Shoots, Gracen Shoots, Daniel Shoots, and Jenson Shoots.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the Bonifay Cemetery.
