Steven Matthew Joe Bates, age 25, of Dothan, Alabama passed away August 23, 2022. He was born December 8, 1996, in Dothan, Alabama.
Steven is survived by his mother and step-father, Patricia and Daniel Sasnett of Dothan, AL; father, Bennett Tracy Bates of Graceville, FL; four siblings, Heather Bridges and Cole of GA; Joshua Enfinger and Madison Sonnier of Dothan, AL, Haley Bates and Wesley Hayes of Crystal River, FL, and Katie Lamb of Enterprise, AL; nieces and nephews, Caleb Bridges, Makayla Bridges, Miranda Rodgers, Charity Rodgers, Brantley Teachman, and Cam Rodgers; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM Wednesday at Peel Funeral Home.
