Michael Allen Hathaway, age 54, of Bonifay, Florida passed away September 28, 2022, at his home. He was born March 3, 1968, in Dothan, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Hathaway, stepfather, JW Swanner, maternal grandparents, Frank and Ruby Hallford, and paternal grandparents, JC and Doris Hathaway.
Michael is survived by his mother, Shirley Swanner of Bonifay, FL; two brothers, Kenneth Finch and wife Bobbie of Bonifay, FL and Keith Hathaway and wife Eva of Dothan, AL; one sister, Heather Tatavitto and husband Chuck of Samson, AL; two stepsisters, Mary Grace Register and husband Robert of Chipley, FL and Liz Mathis of Taylor, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 30, 2022, at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church with Rev. Michael Tadlock and Rev. Mike White officiating. Interment will follow in the New Smyrna Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church.Â
