This workshop will feature speakers presenting information about tree seedlings, current and future timber markets, forestry cost share programs, and other forestry related information.
Event will be held at the Washington County Agriculture Center auditorium. Central Time.
Sign in 8:30, workshop starts 9:00.
Lunch approximately 11:30.
Mill tours will start after lunch.
Tours will be done in groups of 8-10 participants at a time and last approximately 30-45 minutes. Participants waiting for a mill tour are welcome to stay at the Ag Center to speak with the presenters for more information and Florida Forest Service for information about forestry assistance and cost share programs.
For those signing up for the mill tour, this will entail lots of walking, climbing stairs, being around industrial equipment and loud noise.
