In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Ms. Deborah Rene Huhes, on October 23, 2022 in Chipley, Florida. She was 65 years old and a life long native of Washington County, Florida.
Deborah was blessed with the breath of life on April 3, 1957 to the parentage of Moses & Oree (Hughes) O’Neal in Washington County, Florida.
Deborah was educated in the public school system of Washington County, Florida; graduating from Chipley High School. Being raised in a Christian Home, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida. Deborah served on the Kitchen Committee and wherever else she could be of assistance in the Church.
Deborah was employed with the Washington County School District in the Cafeteria for numerous years. She later started working as an Correctional Officer; later transferring to Sunland in Marianna, Florida; both with the State of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Moses & Oree O’Neal.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons: Brad (Toya) Hughes of Marianna, Florida, Emmanuel Martin and Domique Martin, both of Chipley, Florida; five grandchildren: Esa Hughes, Jamarrion Martin, Blake Hughes, Jaxon Hughes, and Keoni Martin; along with a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins and friends.
