A Chipley woman is behind bars and facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Washington County.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., on October 27, 2022, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Pate Pond Rd. and Wilderness Rd. As deputies made contact with the subject in the vehicle, they noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in, 36-year-old Jessica Leanne Baker, being taken into custody after deputies located illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
Baker was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking of methamphetamine.
