Lyle Bernell Ferguson, age 82, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 28, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 9, 1940, in Maple Valley, Michigan to the late Alex and Lucille Bartle Ferguson.
In addition to his parents, Lyle was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth McBride and two brothers, Erwin Ferguson and Ronnie Ferguson.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife of 38 years, Earlene Ferguson of Bonifay, FL; four children, Tony Budnick and Paulisa of Caryville, FL, Shannon Clemmons of Branford, FL, Amanda Dalton and husband Michael of Bonifay, FL, and Zarlin Messer of Mobile, AL; eight grandchildren, Justin Budnick, Zachary Budnick, Andrea Cota, Angel Burnham, Avery Dalton, Addyson Dalton, Ava Dalton, and Preston Messer; two great-grandchildren, Saige Budnick and Saylor Budnick; seven siblings, Judy Ingles and husband Jerry, Lorraine Machiela and husband Charles, Wilma Miller and husband David, Alex Ferguson and wife Ginny, Wayne Ferguson and wife Rita, Don Ferguson and wife Diane, Pat Haupt and husband Brian; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2022, at Caryville Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. Edward Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Caryville Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
