Zach Wester, former Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Deputy, was found guilty in 2021 on charges of racketeering, fabricating evidence, official misconduct, false imprisonment and possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia.

Sentenced to twelve years in prison in Colorado, Wester arrested more than 30 persons, planting drugs on the innocent drivers.

A one-million-dollar settlement will now be shared by those victims, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
