On Friday, November 25, 2022, around midnight, Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle just east of Marianna.
Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, Shawn Anthony Williams, and the passenger, Rebecca Renee Cosby.
During the course of the investigation, K-9 Dutch was deployed and alerted to the odor of narcotics.
A crystalline substance was found in the vehicle and was determined to be methamphetamine.
Williams and Cosby were both arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
