Aron Burch, age 93, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 30, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Clarksville, Florida.
He was born April 27, 1929, in Chipley, Florida to the late Elvin and Dovie Grantham Burch. In addition to his parents, Aron was preceded in death by his wife, Jerrine Helms Burch, one grandson, Jeremy Allan Austin, one brother, Avon Burch, two sisters, Azeal Justice and husband Dick and Voncile Reddick, and one sister-in-law, Geraldine Burch.
Aron is survived by three children, Freida Cook and husband Phillip of Bonifay, FL, Danny Burch and wife Karen of Bonifay, FL and Loreida Austin and husband Allan of Clarksville, FL; eight grandchildren, Lonnie and Anna Cook, Lyndon and Jill Cook, Misty and Chase Pritchett, Sarah and Tyler Cooey, Erin Burch, Annah Salter, Jacob Austin, and Jaron Austin; eight great-grandchildren, Luke Cook, Wess Cook, Bryson Cook, Dusti Cook, Nick Cooke, Jace Cooey, Will Cooey, and Kennon Cooey; one brother, Array Burch of Bonifay, FL; three sisters, Oveal Patrick and husband Jimmy of Bonifay, FL, Ezell Lassiter and husband Marvin of Vernon, FL, and Ozeal Harrell and husband Marcus of Bonifay, FL; one sister-in-law, Foy Burch of Bonifay, FL; one brother-in-law, Otha Reddick of Tallahassee, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will gather at the home of Aron Burch until date of service.
