The Washington County, Florida Sheriff’s Office, along with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office are on scene now of a shooting off N Silver Lake Rd. in Washington County.
At approximately 10:55 a.m. a 911 call was received in reference to a shooting.
A verbal altercation erupted between family members leaving one individual with a gun shot wound to the neck and the shooter fleeing the scene.
This victim is reported to be in stable condition with a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators with the WCSO continue to interview witnesses and establish the whereabouts of the shooter.
The shooter is believed to have fled Washington County.
