Washington County, Florida Emergency Operations Advises Significant Cold Weather Outbreak Expected This Weekend

A significant cold weather outbreak is expected to arrive across the Florida Panhandle region on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Based on the latest information, today’s forecast for the arctic temperatures remains unchanged.

We still expect low temperatures in the teens to lower twenties Saturday morning with dangerous wind chills in the single digits.

A hard freeze watch/warning means that air temperatures of 23 degrees or less are possible/expected for the specified county. 

A wind chill advisory means that wind chills of 20 degrees or less are expected for the specified county 

A wind chill watch/warning means that wind chills of 0 degrees or less are possible/expected for the specified county.
