According to the Brevard County, Florida Clerk’s Office, Tobias Brewer will face charges in adult court for fleeing law enforcement, grand theft of a motor vehicle, attempted first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
Cocoa, Florida Police Department officials say that Tobias Jacob Brewer is behind bars for fleeing from police and beating his mother to the brink of death after she asked him to clean his room.
The mother reportedly told police, ‘Toby did this’ as she was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center for treatment where she is in critical, but stable condition.
Brewer told police the reason he attacked his mother was because she, ‘was constantly on his case about cleaning his room’, and he beat his mother, ‘until the handle of the frying pan broke’, and then switched to a knife and began stabbing her repeatedly.
