Friends of the Washington County, Florida Public Library Welcome All to Monthly Meeting on Thursday, January 5, 2022

By | January 4, 2023

This January instead of book recommendations by Friends’ members, we are excited to have a speaker.

Rebecca J. Johnston is an English professor at Santa Fe College and a doctoral candidate at the University of Exeter.

She serves as the Vice President of the Florida Hemingway Society, and she has researched along the Italian Front of WWI through grants from the Hemingway Society.

Her debut novel, Not to Keep, was published in January 2022, and it recently won a first place Firebird Award for US Historical Fiction and second place for Southern Fiction.
