Ronald P. Skipper, 70 of Bonifay, Florida Passes on December 21, 2022

Ronald P. Skipper, 70 of Bonifay, passed from this life on December 21, 2022 at his residence.

Ronnie was born on February 4, 1952, in Pensacola, Florida to Charles Skipper and Audrey Gilley.

Ronnie loved staying up to date with local and national politics, and formerly worked for the 41st  Governor of the State of Florida, Gov. Lawton Chiles.

He will be remembered as both gentleman and scholar, being highly educated in the multiple facets but specializing in mental health and was a problem solver for many of his family and friends. Ronnie was an accomplished writer, penning numerous poems and papers, and was gifted artistically.

Of all of Ronnie’s accomplishments his family brought him the greatest joy, especially his nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Skipper and Audrey Gilley Waller; brothers: Kenny Skipper, Allen Skipper, and Charles “Devon” Skipper.

He is survived by his sister: Debbie Skipper of Bonifay, Florida; two brothers: Timmy Skipper of Bonifay, Florida, Keith Skipper of Bonifay, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Memorialization will be by cremation with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements
