James Thomas ‘Tom’ Dobson, Sr., age 74, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 22, 2023, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay.
He was born March 4, 1948, in Canton, Georgia. Mr. Dobson was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Dobson and his mother, Mary Carolyn Thomas Turner.
Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathy Dobson of Bonifay, FL; two children, James T. Dobson, Jr. and Misty of Newport News, VA and Heather Hathcock and Gary of Dahlonega, GA; five grandchildren, Kaitlynn Dobson, Kathrynn Dobson, Zachary Hathcock, Garrison Hathcock and Jennifer, and Makynna Hathcock; one great-grandchild, Oakland Hathcock.
Memorialization will be by cremation with a private family service at a later date.
