Millar Raye Coker Todd, 82 of Caryville, FL, passed away January 24, 2023, at Doctor’s Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, FL with her devoted and loving husband of 63 years by her side.
She was born in Geneva, AL on July 15, 1940, to Everette and Nettie Mae Burdeshaw-Coker.
Millar is survived by her loving husband, Aaron Todd, Sr. of Caryville, FL; her grandchildren: Charity Buntin and husband Tim of Tallahassee, FL; Chad Todd and wife Brenda of Chipley, FL; Cody Harmon and wife Tiffany of Bonifay, FL; and Brentin Wilson and husband Jonathan of Hartford, AL; seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Joan Wells, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dawnne Todd; son, Aaron “Buddy” Todd, Jr.; mother- and father-in-law Elder C. W. and Martha Todd; sister Grace McDaniel; brother James Coker; and granddaughter, April Todd Lee,
The family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice for the wonderful care given to Millar.
Pallbearers will be Todd Ray, Addison Ray, Cody Harmon, Terry McDaniel, Greg Coker, and Curt Vanlandingham. Millar supported her husband’s coaching career enthusiastically and therefore honorary pallbearers are all basketball players from Whigham, GA and Vernon, FL coached by Millar’s husband.
Funeral services will be held on January 28, 2023, Saturday 1:00 pm, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Donnie McPherson officiating.
Visitation will be at 12:00 pm at the church prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
