Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Devon H. Toole and Colby Wilson for Resisting Arrest, Forgery and Obstructing an Officer

On Jan. 29, deputies responded to an address in Compass Lake in reference to a trespassing complaint.

The caller said an unknown white woman, later identified as Devon H. Toole, was following him to his home and accusing him of stealing soil.

The caller was also able to provide a description of Toole and her vehicle, and deputies quickly made contact with her.

Throughout the course of the investigation, it was discovered Toole had a felony warrant out of Bay County.

When deputies attempted to take her into custody, Toole began to resist arrest. Colby Wilson then exited the residence and charged at the deputy, who was attempting to take Toole into custody.

When the deputy directed his attention to Wilson, he and Toole were able to flee into a marshy area.

The JCSO K-9 Tracking Unit was activated, and a short time later Devon Toole and Colby Wilson were located and taken into custody.

Devon H. Toole was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest without Violence.

She is also being held on a Bay County warrant for Uttering a Forged Instrument. Colby Wilson was arrested and charged with Obstructing an Officer without Violence.

He is also being held on warrants out of Calhoun County for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
