UPDATE – SUSPECT CAPTURED
Washington County Deputies stayed vigilant throughout the night and into the early morning hours in the search for a domestic violence stabbing suspect.
Around 6:30 AM this morning, Elis Francios Vargas Sterling was CAPTURED trying to flee the area in the rear of a vehicle.
Dog Tracking Teams from local state prisons actively worked to locate the suspect, who was considered armed and dangerous.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office appreciates everyone in the area support and cooperation.
