Catherine Worley, 87, of Poplar Springs Community, Graceville, Florida stepped into her Heavenly Home on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Mrs. Catherine was born in Ozark, Alabama on January 18, 1936, to the late Arnice and Louise Bowman Foreman. On August 8, 1952, she married the love of her life and was blessed with six beloved children. Mrs. Catherine worked over the years at Golden Peanut Corporation, Holmes Shirt Factory and then she retired from food service with Poplar Springs High School. She was known for her delicious cooking, and she enjoyed canning and cooking for her friends and family. Mrs. Catherine was a longtime member of East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Ashley Bush, one sister Carolyn Hensley, brother Delton Foreman and son-in-law Rob West.
She is survived by her devoted husband D.B. Worley, six children Retha Snell (Joel), Denise West, Teresa Bush (Randy), Danny Worley, Donnie Worley, Benjie Worley, one sister Hazel Hall (Junior), sixteen grandchildren Sabrina Reynolds, Kevin Snell, Wendy McGough, Dylan West, Jeremy West, Jason West, Robbie West, Brandy Bush, Morgan French, Zachary Worley, Derek Worley, Dustin Worley, Danielle Steverson, Jaran Worley, Katie Worley, Grayson Worley, twenty-four great grandchildren Fuller, Tucker, Kelan, Braxton, Allie Grace, Paisley, Katlin, Kevina, Chase, Darien, Oaklee, Sawyer, Broox, Bryndon, River, Pailynn, Zaylie, Westin, Maddox, Maken, Shauna, Trey, Caden, Raegan, a host of nieces and nephews.
A Home-going Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, at East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Bro. Roger Whitaker, Bro. Charlie Newman, Bro. Joel Snell and Bro. Chris Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
The Family will receive friends at the church Sunday 12:30 p.m., until the time of service.
