Nathan Max Allen Collins 23, of Chipley, Florida went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2023, at his residence.
Max was born on August 22, 1999, in Dothan, Alabama to Robbie and Gena Collins.
A lifelong resident of Washington County and attended Grace Assembly of God Church in Chipley, Florida.
He was an old soul, which was embodied by his maturity at such a young age.
Max held a strong work ethic and was employed with Florida Panhandle Technical College as their welding instructor.
Max enjoyed his career as a Welder. He loved spending time with his family and friends outdoors, skiing and wakeboarding, shooting guns, and piddling.
Most of all, he loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Tommy Collins.
He is survived by his loving wife: Kaylee Collins of Chipley, Florida; parents: Robbie and Gena Collins; brother: Shawn Collins (Selick) of Cottondale, Florida; sister: Jena Collins of Chipley, Florida; niece: Lilah Collins of Cottondale, Florida; paternal grandmother: Billie Inez Collins of Chipley, Florida; maternal grandmother: Ruth Porter of Vernon, Florida; maternal grandfather: Danny DeRico of Sunny Hills, Florida; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Grace Assembly in Chipley, Florida with Bro. Dallas Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM Friday, February 17, 2023, at Grace Assembly in Chipley, Florida.
