Judge Mark Walker allowed Anderson on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the option of taking the plea deal, which consists of Anderson entering either an Alford plea or nolo contendere plea.
A defendant may enter an Alford plea (not admitting guilt but acknowledging enough evidence for a conviction) or a nolo contendere plea (neither admitting nor denying guilt but accepting punishment).
Seven people, including Lynn Haven‘s former city manager, attorney, leisure services director, and a commissioner, have pleaded guilty in connection to the case.
