Over 30 Slocomb, Alabama High School graduating senior students visited Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, Florida on February 23, 2023, to explore their options in the upcoming year as adult students, as seen in these photos of and by FPTC Photography students.
Of particular interest was the fact that Florida Panhandle Technical College now charges basically the same tuition for Southeast Alabama students as for Florida residents, something that changed in the past couple of years, and which has made an impact on the school.
The Slocomb students visited several FPTC programs, including Law Enforcement, Corrections, Drone Technology, Diesel/Heavy Equipment Operators Technology, Welding, Automotive, Digital Media, Carpentry, Electrician, Cosmetology, IT, Cyber Security, Hemodialysis, Digital Video, Drafting, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Tech, Nursing and Digital Photography, as seen in these photos of and by FPTC Photography students.
