William Thomas ‘Tom’ Padgett, age 59, went to be with his Lord February 23, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He was born February 24, 1963, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Herman Arthur Padgett and Marion Delorid Willis Padgett.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by three siblings, Hermon L. Padgett, Marion Padgett, and Vicky Padgett Bassham.
Tom is survived by his wife, Kim Padgett of Bonifay, FL; seven children, Greg Beckworth of Boerne, TX, April Seluga of Bonifay, FL, Ashley Corbin of Chipley, FL, Kristy Davis of Bonifay, FL, Cody Davis of Bonifay, FL, Chelsea Padgett of Bonifay, FL, and Sophie Padgett of Bonifay, FL; nine grandchildren, Maddison Beckworth, Raegan Corbin, Harley Seluga, Boo Corbin, Aaron Seluga, Alexander Smith, Lyam Smith, Branson McLendon, and Willie Yates; one great-grandchild, Rose; nine siblings, Hilton Padgett of Noma, FL, Elizabeth Drumheller of Lake City, FL, Marylou Pippins of Branson, GA, Gail Brown of Caro, GA, James Padgett of Freeport, FL, Patsy Smith of Bonifay, FL, Desi Hewett of Bonifay, FL, Hermon A. Padgett, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA, and Earl Padgett of Pace, FL; numerous nieces, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Bonifay Church of God.
