Sandra Lee Perea 75, of Chipley, Florida went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2023, at Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Sandra was born on July 30, 1947, in Dunedin, Florida to Stephen and Ila Skinner. She had been a resident of the Florida Panhandle since 1979 coming from South Florida; she was a faithful church member of Miracle Valley Spirit of Holiness Fellowship Church.
Sandra loved spending quality time with her beloved family; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Stephen and Ila Skinner; brother: Ronald Skinner; grandson: Joshua Perea.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Gilbert Perea of Chipley, FL; son: Gilbert Jason Perea (Teresa) of Chipley, FL; daughter: Lisa Houpt of Chipley, FL; brother: Donald Skinner (Joyce) of Spring Hill, FL; sister: Deborah Corbin (Chuck) of Alford, FL; grandchildren: Gilbert Jordan Perea (Lacie), Sabrina Pouncey (John); great-grandchildren: Paisley Perea, Oliver Perea.
Service will be held 2 PM Friday, March 3, 2023, at Miracle Valley Spirit of Holiness Fellowship Church in Chipley, Florida with Rev. Wesley Ard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Miracle Valley Spirit of Holiness Fellowship Church in Chipley, Florida.
