Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are on the scene now of a shooting that allegedly occurred on Singer Rd.
At approximately 11:58 a.m. today, witnesses stated a male subject arrived at a residence on Silverlake Rd. where the occupants of the home made a 911 call to the Washington County Communications Center in reference to a male subject with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
WCSO deputies and EMS arrive on scene. A short time later the victim was airlifted to a local hospital and is currently undergoing surgery at this time.
Sheriff Crews would like to inform the public that this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the public.
