On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Pattillo’s Restaurant on the campus of Florida Panhandle Technical College in downtown Chipley, Florida was the site of an explosive assembly of law enforcement officials and other public safety officials, as seen in the accompanying photos by FPTC Digital Photography students.
Fire Marshalls with the State of Florida presented a display of homemade explosives, along with a seminar concerning persons of interest who make bomb threats and intend other harm to the public through the use of explosives.
The Law Enforcement Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College is part of the Public Safety suite of offerings, inclusive of Corrections, LEO-Corrections Crossover, Corrections-LEO Crossover, Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician.
