First responders were on scene Thursday morning, March 9, 2023, after a fire destroyed a home on Rocky Lane in Grand Ridge.
The Jackson County Fire Rescue and the Dellwood, Grand Ridge and Sneads Volunteers were called around 4:00 a.m.
Thursday morning to the fire. Upon clearing the rubble inside the home, the bodies were discovered.
The Florida State Fire Marshalls were on the scene as well as the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
Officials at the scene have not confirmed any details about the fire. First responders were seen removing two bodies from the area.
