On Monday, March 27, around 1:00 a.m., deputies conducted a building check around Blondies in Grand Ridge, and saw a white vehicle backed into a parking space with three people inside.
When deputies made contact with the occupants, they told deputies that they had a flat tire, which was determined to be a lie.
Deputies also saw what appeared to be drugs inside the vehicle through the window.
The person in the driver’s seat, Angel Weeks, then told a Sneads Police Officer, who had arrived as back up, that there was marijuana in the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, marijuana, MDMA, and two smoking devices were found, and Weeks admitted that she was the owner.
Weeks was arrested and is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Edenfield would like to thank the Sneads Police Department for their assistance in this case.
