Teresa Donna Duke, 95 of Caryville, went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2023 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida.
Teresa was born July 8, 1927 in Washington County, Florida to John and Ann (Porter) Lee.
She was of the Christian faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida.
Teresa was a graduate of Vernon High School. After graduation she became a licensed Beautician and worked in the field for 32 years. Teresa was also a Foster Parent to many for over 35 years. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann Lee; beloved husband: Aaron A. Duke; son: Danny Duke; sisters: Iris Worthington and Erenistine Horton; son-in-law: Robert Bruce Hubbs.
She is survived by her daughter: Donna Hubbs of Caryville, Florida; daughter-in-law: Janice Duke of Caryville, Florida; grandchildren: Michael Duke (Rhonda), Scott Duke (Chastity), Lee Duke (Crystal), Anna Elezebeth Clonch (JR), Robert Bruce Hubbs II; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2PM Monday, April 3, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida with Bro. Shelly Chandler and Bro. Russell Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Vernon, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to First Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida.
