Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2023, Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigators retrieve a submerged vehicle out of Holmes Creek.
On April 3rd, Investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a vehicle had been submerged off the boat ramp at Shell Landing.
Using both the bottom and side scan sonar device, they were able to locate an object that appeared to match the description of the vehicle.
WCSO dive team members were activated to assist with the recovery.
No one was injured in the incident.
The case has been turned over to the Florida Highway Patrol.
