West Florida Electric Cooperative District 6 Trustee George Clayton Owens recently took the opportunity to thank the members of the Electic Cooperative for their faith and trust in him as their elected representative.
‘I don’t take my duties as a Trustee for my constituents lightly’, said Owens ‘and I want to thank each and every member for their faith in me, and electing me as their representative’.
George Clayton Owens, who has served as District 6 Trustee for West Florida Electric Cooperative for the past dozen years, encouraged all members of the cooperative, and especially families, to join the fun in Graceville on April 29, 2023.
‘This is an opportunity to learn more about the cooperative, to meet your coop representatives and to enjoy a day of relaxation, all courtesy of your power provider’, said Owens.
The event will include inflatables for the kids, electrical equipment demonstrations, free BBQ lunch, a health fair, Gospel music and a day of relaxation.
‘I look forward to this event each year’, said Owens, ‘and look forward to seeing many old friends and making some new ones as well’.
