Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Investigates Habitat for Humanity Theft in Cottondale, Florida on April 22, 2023

On Saturday, April 22, deputies were dispatched to an address in Cottondale, where a possible burglary had occurred.

When they arrived, deputies learned that the location of the burglary was a Habitat for Humanity build site.

The victim stated that a black and yellow DeWalt battery charger and several retractable razor knives were stolen, and about 200 feet of interior electrical wire was cut, totaling about $2,000 in damage.

There are no suspects at this time, but this incident is still being investigated.
