The Chipley, Florida High School Tigers Baseball Team celebrated their ‘Senior Night’, honoring those graduating seniors on the squad, prior to the non-conference game against the Gadsden County, Florida High School Jaguars on the Chipley campus on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, as seen in Part 1 of these photos by Paul Goulding Photography.
Neal Adams, Conner Dillard, Michael Green, Bryson Howard, and Parker Smelcer are baseball players but also leaders on and off the field.
Their families are to be congratulated for being mentors and supporters, as all five of these young men will be successful in whatever they choose to do.
Neal Adams wears jersey #7, and his parents are Rod and Mary Adams. Neal has been a starter for 3 years as pitcher and infielder, and following graduation, Neal plans to pursue a career in the agricultural industry. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
Conner Dillard is #8, and his mother is Miss Kim Dillard. Conner came to CHS this year and he plays outfield for the Tigers. His future plans are to attend college and earn a degree. In his spare time Conner enjoys playing baseball and listening to music.
Michael Green wears jersey #11 and plays right field. His parents are Joseph and Mary Green and he has played baseball for one year. Michael has accepted a football scholarship at Huntington College and plans to earn a degree in exercise science. His main hobby is lifting weights.
#16 is Bryson Howard, and his parents are Steven and Dori Howard. He has played baseball for four years and he will be attending Coastal Alabama East on a baseball scholarship in the fall. He plans to earn a degree on Civil Engineering. His hobbies include swimming, fishing, playing video games and playing the guitar.
#6 is Parker Smelcer and his parents are Gary and Connie Smelcer. Parker has played baseball for four years and he plans to attend college and earn a degree, studying the ancient technology used to build the pyramids (and ‘that the US government is hiding from us’). His hobbies include Fishing and lifting weights.
The Tigers went on to win the game against the Gadsden Jaguars 16-2.
