A Wewahitchka, FL resident is behind bars on several felony charges in Washington County.
At approximately 11:56pm, on May 5th, WCSO deputies patrolling the Rolling Pines Rd. area observe a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle being driven by a wanted subject, later identified, as 33-year-old, Harold Ray Mangum.
WCSO deputies made contact with Mangum who was asked for his driver’s license and he stated he did not have them.
After several attempts to identify Mangum, he gave a partial false name and birth year. Mangum was asked to step out of the vehicle to which he would not comply.
With assistance from deputies, Mangum exited the vehicle and was detained.
A subsequent search of his person revealed Mangum to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Mangum who also has felony warrants out of Bay and Gulf Counties was transported to the Washington County Jail.
During booking, a search of his person revealed Mangum to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Mangum was booked on the current charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence and false ID given to LEO.
