On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, five successful students will graduate from the Digital Video Technology Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College, as seen in the photo (below), at 6PM at Shiloh Baptist Church.

Shown (left to right) are Macy Owen, Cameron Taylor, Cynthia Vallejos and Hunter Kirkland. Not shown is Andy Franklin, who completed the program several months ago, and who will also graduate on Tuesday evening.

Also shown is dual-enrolled Juan Morado, a graduating senior from Chipley High School, who has successfully participated in the program for his senior year.

There is nothing glamorous about the fields of photography, videography, radio, television, drone or audio production- they all require diligence, hard work, lifelong learning and commitment.

Many are called and few are chosen to spend their lives in some form of these dedicated arts, but for those who persevere, there is an opportunity for a creative, well-paid future.

FPTC Instructor Paul Goulding says, ‘I am proud of each of you, and I would hire any of you as a photographer or videographer for my own business. I love you, I respect you and I wish you all the best. Now go get a job’.
