Emma Lou ‘Dixie’ Sellers, age 82, of Bonifay, Florida passed away May 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 23, 1940, to the late William E. Strickland and Gearldean Miller Strickland.
In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sellers and two sisters, Ruthie Myers and Daisy Paul.
Dixie enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking for her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bonifay.
Ms. Sellers is survived by three children, Gwen Sellers of Bonifay, FL, Donnie Sellers and wife Renee of Westville, FL, and Randy Sellers and wife Julie of Bonifay, FL; four grandchildren, Hunter Crews of Bonifay, FL, Jewel Roberson and husband Brett of Chipley, FL, Madison Sellers of Westville, FL and Megan Sellers of Westville, FL; one soon to be great-granddaughter, Bentley Drew Roberson; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2023, at First Baptist Church Bonifay with Rev. Shelly Chandler and Rev. Jeep Sullivan.
Interment will follow in the Sellers Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 PM at First Baptist Church Bonifay.
