A 9-year-old juvenile was reunited with his parents after new K-9 Hannibal assisted in the search and rescue.
Around 10:30 am, on May 30, 2023 morning, a call in reference to a missing juvenile came into the Washington County Telecommunications Center.
A father and son were on the walking trails at Dogwood Acres when the father realized his son had wondered off.
Deputies responded to the scene and immediately enlisted the help of WCSO’s newest addition, K-9 Hannibal.
Hannibal’s dual-purpose training in narcotics, tracking and apprehension expedited the recovery of the young man.
This is the first find by two-year-old, K-9 Hannibal since joining our WCSO family in March from Houston, TX.
