The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest of six of Bay County’s Top 10 Most Wanted over a one-week period by the BCSO Warrants Division.
Among the arrested were David Murphree, Timothy Daugherty, Zachary Pascarelle and Dezjuan Bellamy.
Tips from Crimestoppers on David Murphree led to an investigation by Warrants deputies.
David Murphree, age 61, was on the Most Wanted list for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a Child 12-16 years of age, Possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine.
Investigators developed information that David Murphree had purchased a home using a prior registered LLC.
Investigators conducted surveillance on this residence and observed David Murphree’s motorcycle hidden in the back yard.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence. Investigators made entry into the residence and located David Murphree hiding in a back room.
David Murphree was taken into custody without incident.
Timothy Daugherty, age 34, was wanted for Trafficking in Methamphetamine. BCSO Warrants
investigators received information that Daugherty was traveling in Southport and responded quickly to the area, locating his vehicle.
A traffic stop was conducted, and Timothy Daugherty was placed into custody.
BCSO Warrants investigators learned that two other suspects on the Most Wanted List, Zachary Pascarelle, age 26, and Dezjuan Bellamy, age 21, had fled Bay County, Florida.
However, information was developed that Pascarelle was staying at a home in Houston County, Alabama.
Warrants investigators contacted the Houston County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office and they responded to the address.
Houston County informed investigators that Pascarelle had, one hour before, left Alabama for Bay County, Florida.
Investigators learned the vehicle Zachary Pascarelle was traveling in and issued a Be on The Look Out (BOLO) to surrounding agencies.
Walton County Sheriff’s Office spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Zachary Pascarelle got out of his vehicle and fled on foot but was captured a short time later and placed into custody by Walton County deputies.
Pascarelle was wanted for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Fleeing and Eluding, and Resisting with Violence.
BCSO Investigators were able to learn Dezjuan Bellamy was staying at an address in Gadson, Alabama, and notified the Gadson Police Department.
They were able to find Bellamy and place him into custody without incident.
Dezjuan Bellamy was wanted for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Domestic Violence Battery by Strangulation.
