On Tuesday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 11:30 pm, officers responded to the 2800 block of Borden Street in reference to a residential burglary in progress.
The tenant stated they received a notification on the phone about movements inside the residence.
The tenant voiced he does not know who this person is that is inside his residence but believed it to be Charles Donald.
Officers entered the residence and found no one inside.
The tenant provided a video of the subject inside the residence.
Officers were able to identify the subject in the living room as Charles Donald, through prior interactions while on duty with the Marianna Police Department.
Donald can be seen pilfering through the living room area and lifting up couch cushions as though he were looking for something.
Immediately after leaving the residence, Charles Donald was located at the intersection of Milton Avenue and Harrison Avenue.
Donald was arrested without incident and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
