James Franklin Morrell, age 54, of Ebro, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, peacefully in his home.
Frankie was born on February 19, 1969, in Panama City, Florida to Orvis Morrell and Angela Dunaway.
Frankie was a member of The Sanctuary Assembly of God, where he served faithfully with his musical talents.
He was a road construction Foreman with CW Roberts. He loved his grand babies with his whole heart, and they were his complete world. He loved music and singing, boating, fishing, going to the Smoky Mountains and Florida State Football. Frankie had the most contagious smile and anyone that was blessed to know him loved him.
Frankie is preceded into death by his father, Orvis Morrell; paternal grandparents, Obie and Elma Morrell; maternal grandparents Henry Dunaway and Margret Moffitt and grandchildren, Pricilla, Jude, and Benny Morrell.
Frankie is survived by his sons, Derrick, wife Amanda and Tyler, wife Sarah; grandchildren Parker, Adalynn, Lawson, Lane, Laurellye, and Paxton; the mother of his children, Anita; mother, Angela Short; brothers, Brian and Tate, wife Amanda; aunt whom was like a mother, Edell Gilley; cousins whom were like siblings, Michael Gilley and Karen Hornsby and uncle, Ricky Brasswell and many numerous family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at The Sanctuary Assembly of God at 1:00 PM, Saturday June 17, 2023.
There will be a time of visitation from 12:00-1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Ebro Community Cemetery.
