Idell Strickland Anglin, age 93, of Ebro, Florida passed away June 17, 2023, at Bonifay Nursing Home in Bonifay, Florida.
She was born December 13, 1929, in Ebro, Florida to the late Ira Strickland and Zellie McKinney Strickland.
In addition to her parents, Idell was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George Lee Anglin, a son, George Wayne Anglin, two daughters, Celie Yvonne Perez and Linda Ann Anglin, an infant daughter, three brothers, Emmett Strickland, G.W. Strickland, and Ira Strickland, Jr., and four sisters, Bethel Morrell, Odessa Casey, Velma Stiller, and Elma Morrell.
Mrs. Anglin is survived by one daughter, Pastor Brenda Thornton and husband Curtis of Ebro, FL, one daughter-in-law, Martha Vinson Anglin of Ebro, FL, one son-in-law, Danny Perez of Ebro, FL; five grandchildren, Melissa Jo Perez of Panama City Beach, FL, Nicholas Danny Perez and wife Heather of Ebro, FL, Dallas Wayne Anglin of Ebro, FL, Byron Lee Anglin and wife Dana of Ebro, FL, and Kayla Victoria Watford and husband Kenny of Ebro, FL; seven great-grandchildren, Brandi, Brent, Silas, Hannah, Kurtis, Kolton, Kaylee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Rock of Deliverance Praise and Worship Center.
Interment will follow in the Ebro Community Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 PM at Rock of Deliverance Praise and Worship Center.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dallas Anglin, Brent Anglin, Nicholas Perez, Silas Perez, Carl Hilgenberg, and Thomas Rogers and as honorary pallbearer, Byron Anglin.
