The Chipley, Florida Darlings Girls Dixie Softball team won the Florida State Championship in 2022, and subsequently competed in the World Series against Team Alabama.
This year, the Chipley, Florida All Star Softball Teams will head to Odessa, Florida for Championship Playoff Games on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
The Darlings, accompanied by family and friends, visited Studio B, the production facility on the campus of Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, to participate in some action shots, group photos and portraits, as seen in this series of images featuring the Darlings.
The teams have again been invited to visit the FPTC campus following their return from the state championship games, for studio portraits.
Digital Photography, Digital Audio-Video and Television Production Technology classes start in August on the Florida Panhandle Technical College campus and include hands-on use of cameras, lighting and studio equipment, drones and audio production equipment, along with certification in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, basic website skills, responsible social media and basic business marketing.
