The annual Wausau, Florida Possum Festival was declared by Women’s Day Magazine to be one of the eight ‘most unique festivals in the world’ several years ago and perennially occurs the first Saturday of August each year in the sleepy Florida Panhandle town of Wausau.
This year’s edition, the 2024 Wausau Possum Festival, will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
