Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Jeffrey Olson for Failure to Register as Sex Offender, Providing False Identification

On Friday, August 11, 2023, Jackson County, Florida deputies were made aware that a lifetime sexual offender, Jeffrey Olson, has been living in Jackson County for several months and had not registered.

On Aug. 12, deputies made contact with Olson at the residence he was known to be living at, and asked him to verify his name and social security number.

Deputies quickly determined that Olson gave a false name and social security number and arrested him.

Olson is a lifetime registered sex offender and has been charged five times with sex offender violations in the state of Iowa.

He was also charged in Bay County for failure to register as a sex offender.

Olson is being charged with Failing to Register and Providing False Identification to Law Enforcement.
