Anita Faye Hawthorne-Cook passed away August 15, 2023 in Marianna, Florida. She was born on December 19, 1956 in Panama City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Earl Hawthorne and mother, Sarah Annette Hawthorne, two sisters: Patricia Kimbrel, Cindy Hawthorne; one brother: Danny Hawthorne; and her life partner: Tommy Thompson.
Left to treasure her memory is her daughter Wendie Bisaccio and husband Michael; four grandchildren; Christina Anderson, Ricky Anderson, Jeremy Bisaccio and wife Angela, and Anna Bisaccio; nine great grandchildren: Bryanna, Christian, Ashlynn, Keagan, Johnathyn, Graysen Earl, McKenna, Lincoln and Tre.
Anita loved being outside working in her yard. She had two green thumbs and could grow pretty much anything. She also enjoyed fishing, crocheting, sewing, Nascar, and Florida State Football, but the thing she loved most was spending time with her family and friends.
Memorialization was by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
